Born in early 2002, Joey spent his formative years with a kindly breeder who raised him from birth. Joey has no contact with his mother – a real bitch according to Joey – and will no doubt need animal psychotherapy to deal with his unresolved issues of parental abandonment.
In May of 2002, Joey was adopted by the Ginsberg family and soon took over control of their household. More recently, Joey has taken up residence at Ginsberg Law Offices where he announces the arrival of visitors with a ferocious bark before recognizing that 4.5 lbs of poodle doesn’t scare too much of anything. As retirement looms, Joey is easing into security officer emeritus status but he still responds readily to sounds at 140 dB and higher.
When not on duty, Joey is mild mannered and friendly and he readily plays with small children and adults with treats.
UPDATE: Sadly, Joey left us in January, 2019 at age 17. His fondly remembered by his human friends and family. He will be missed.
